EID MILAD-UN-NABI 12th RABI UL AWWAL HOLIDAY 23 IN SINDH
Government of Sindh Services General Administrative and Coordination Department Karachi issued the latest notification on 24 September 2023. The new notification was released in connection with the celebration of the 12th Rabiul Awal 1445. for the year 2023 the Eid Milad un Nabi falls on Friday 29th September 2023. The government of Sindh announces a public holiday on the occasion of the 12th Rabi ul Awwal. All government and private sector departments remain closed except the emergency services. The labor force working in industries also remains off-duty. The Federal Government has also issued the notification EID MILAD UN NABI 23 holiday on friday for Federal employees.
PUBLIC HOLIDAY FOR ALL OFFICES CORPORATION DEPARTMENTS
Since the Govt declared a complete holiday or on 29 sep 23. in order to celebrate eat with respect and peace there is a complete public holiday. therefore, all offices /Autonomous bodies /Semi-autonomous bodies/ Corporations and local councils will be off duty these all departments or offices fall under the supervision and administrative control of the government of Sindh But essential services throughout the province of Sindh remain open. The staff working in these essential services will remain on call.

Eid Milad un-Nabi celebrates On the 12th Rabi ul Awwal the 3rd month of the May calendar. This year it will be observed on 29th September 2023 on the day of Friday.
Every year Muslim community members celebrate this day with respect and peace. In the remembrance of the birthday of our holy Prophet Muhammad SAW People do charity, paying Darood o Slaam and arranging gathering for Eid Milad un Nabi. For this reason, the government announced this day as a general public holiday. Many people decorate their houses and streets with Islamic buntings. They share sweet dishes or divide meals among the needy. So, this day also brings happiness and joy. Especially kids who buy Islamic badges to show their love. This event is also celebrated in educational institutions.
